Find the Remnant Conservatory

After completing “From the Dust,” you discover the exiles’ plans for really messing up the Initiative’s objectives by doing harm to their settlements.
You can potentially start this mission without completing the last objective in “From the Dust.” If you head to the Remnant conservatory at the end of “From the Dust,” you leave the dome (2) in the northwest. If you’re just arriving on the lunar surface again, you leave from the landing zone (1).
Explore the Remnant Conservatory
Drive into the dome (3) on the west side of the lunar surface and enter the Remnant conservatory (vault). Take the Gravity Well (4) down into the depths, defeat the Observers, and interface with the Remnant console (5) to release a glowing green friendly Observer. These Observers work for you if you point them in the right direction, meaning that you scan the console you need them to activate.
Scan the console (6) closest to the locked doorway. The Observer activates it, opening the next door and allowing access to the next main vault chamber (7). This is the theme throughout the quest.
Main Vault Chamber
Head right into the adjacent hallway and interface with the Remnant console (8). This spawns a friendly Observer in the nearby nook. Scan the Remnant console (9) along the west wall to have the Observer activate it. This opens two doors, revealing a nook on each side of the console. Jump into the north nook (10); the pedestal with its one orb means you activate the console in this nook first. Then enter the southern nook and activate the console (11) near the two orbs. Activation must be done in this order.
Enter the north hallway (12) and interact with the console near the friendly Observer. This closes the door behind you and opens the next, allowing you into the following southern chamber (13). Defeat or ignore the Observers in the next room. Run east across the bridge (14) that forms as you cross it.
Enter the next hallway across the gap and turn right into a small passage with a Remnant console (15).
Interact with it to shut the door behind you and open the next to the south. Enter the passage to the south with the two force fields and another Remnant console (16). Interface with it to close the door behind you and open the next one to the south.
Activate the Tiller
Defeat the Remnant baddies in the final, central chamber and interface with the large Remnant console in the middle of the floor. Solve the Remnant puzzle using the shot we’ve provided. AVP is earned and the quest is complete. Congratulations, the Initiative will have fuel for hundreds of years to come. As for the containers behind all the closed doors we skipped, all you need to do is use friendly Observers to help you open those doors.
