Investigate the Smoke
Voeld
Look for thick black smoke while in the area indicated on our map (near a large bridge). As you travel toward the smoke, a fireball shoots down from the sky, landing where the smoke originates (1). Move to the site quickly to find a battle between angara and kett around a wrecked ship.
Defeat the Kett
Rush down to the battle and help defeat the Chosen and Anointed.
Speak with the Survivors
After the battle, find and talk to Bennas. Turns out she was setting a trap for the kett by firing off a signal flare. You can tell her it’s a good plan, or you can warn her that there’ll be consequences. Your team would hope you choose the latter.
Defeat the Kett
After the conversation, two kett dropships arrive and dump soldiers off to battle, one on each side of the crashed shuttle. You’re flanked! Send your team to fight in one direction while you hold down the other side. Defeat the Chosen and Anointed to complete the mission. You earn a surprisingly good reward for such a quick little job: 32 AVP and +1% Voeld Viability.
