Create an Outpost
Elaaden: New Tuchanka
A report has come in from New Tuchanka about a giant Remnant construct that has appeared and is working a path toward the outpost. Create an outpost on Elaaden. See “Search for the Stolen Remnant Drive Core” and “Settling Elaaden” for information on settling Elaaden and the ability to put an outpost there.
Speak to the outpost leader
After placing an outpost on Elaaden, and after the auto-conversation with Addison, exit the command center and follow the navpoint into the next building (2) to the south. Talk to Kariste Archana, the asari leader of the outpost. In your conversation with her, ask her about the outpost status. She talks about the Architect on Elaaden. Tell her you’ll take care of it.
Defeat the Architect
The Architect’s location is marked with a navpoint (3) near the next forward station to the west in Languish. When you reach the battlefield, you find the Architect flying above. Chase him down until he lands. For tips on defeating an Architect (the process is the same with all of them), see our Architect tips in the Enemies section of this guide.
What does change from one Architect battle to the next is terrain strategy and the different Remnant enemies you face between the stages of the Architect attacks.
Here on Elaaden, all the Remnant pillars scattered across the battlefield provide plenty of cover opportunities. You have a forward station extremely close to the battle zone, which is useful if you use up all the easily accessible ammo and health crates.
During this Architect battle, you face Assemblers and Breachers. If you have Remnant VI, we strongly suggest you use it. Make sure you activate the Architect once it’s defeated, and loot the container it leaves behind for its specific Fusion Mod.
Speak to the Outpost Leader
Head back to your outpost and speak to Kariste (2) to deliver the news that the Architect has been pacified. She thanks you and puts the final nail in this quest’s coffin. Remember, the next time you’re in orbit around Elaaden, to scan the Architect from the Tempest and earn the 60 Remnant Research Data from it.
