Check Your Email
Tempest
After completing “Know Your Enemy” and getting past Mission 4, read this email from the Nakmor Clan: “Message from New Tuchanka: Troubling Kett Activity.” Not all kett follow the Archon without question. Someone is disseminating propaganda and speaking out against him. It might be prudent to investigate the source of this propaganda.
Investigate the Crashed Kett Ships on Elaaden
Elaaden
Disembark the Tempest (1) at the Initiative outpost. Use the southernmost forward station (2) to get close to your destination (3) in Gehenna Valley. Upon approach, you find kett killing kett at a crash site.
Defeat the Kett
You face a few Chosen and a Destined at the crash site. Sweep them up.
Search the Site
After all the kett are gone, look for the kett datapad on the ground near a piece of wreckage. SAM says the device has a very good lock on it and wants you to bring it back to the Tempest for further analysis. You earn a little bit of AVP and Elaaden Viability +2% for completing the Elaaden portion of this quest.
Speak with Suvi on the Tempest
Elaaden
Bridge
Talk to Suvi on the bridge of the Tempest. She can’t understand why the kett are fighting their own. She tells you that the datapad you found at the wreck is secured with a biometric lock that can only be activated with a specific genetic code. She says Lexi has worked something out with the bio scans you did on Voeld.
Confer with Lexi
Medbay
Head down to the lower level, enter the medbay, and speak to Lexi (5). SAM lends aid in cracking the biometric lock on the datapad. Lexi says it’s locked on to a transmission. Choose to turn it off, or tell her, “That could be dangerous.” Either way, it can’t lock on to your location. A mysterious voice on the transmission talks about dissention in the ranks and wanting to take down their own Archon. A navpoint is traced from the transmission.
Locate the Source of the Signal on Eos
Eos
Head to the bridge and land on Eos, at Prodromos (6). Check your map. The navpoint for the signal isn’t far, a little ways north inside a cave. Grab the Nomad and go.
Track Down the Source of the Signal
Follow the navpoint in the cave to the upper ledges. Scan the Mobile Relay Aiz. Analysis indicates it’s a kett relay masking the true source of anti-Archon propaganda. It’s also broadcasting a series of beeps and tones in Morse code that translates to “Droogie don’t crash here.” Likely unintentional.
Track the Signal to the Second Relay
Follow the navpoint north near the Presson Dunes Forward Station to find a kett camp (8) on a plateau north of the kett base. Defeat the Chosen here and then scan the Mobile Relay Shu.
Track the Signal to the Third Relay
Get back in the Nomad and drive southwest to the next navpoint (9) in the Presson Dunes. There you find Anointed and Chosen and another relay. Defeat the enemy and then head to the far side of the force field. Shut down the kett generator to bring the force field down. Scan the Mobile Relay Zal.
Track the Signal to the Fourth Relay
Drive north through the Presson Dunes to reach the navpoint (10) in Blackrock Tande. A few Chosen and an Anointed guard the exterior of a small barracks. Defeat them, then follow the navpoint into the barracks.
Investigate the Building
Raid the container in the building and approach the desk to listen to an audio log of the mysterious speaker giving a motivational speech. Use the console on the right wall. It activates a holographic image of Primus. You are now talking to Primus directly through this communications console. You discover you have something in common; you both want the Archon dead. Primus doesn’t like the way the Archon is focused on the angara; she feels it endangers everything they’ve worked for. She wants to work with you to get rid of him.
According to Primus, in time she will be called on by the Archon to destroy you. She offers to provide you the means to disable her ship when that time comes. What the heck—take the deal. Primus promises to lower her ship’s defenses during the next clash and allow you to use a kill-code to disable it. This completes the quest, and you earn a small amount of AVP and +2% Eos Viability.
