Eos
Activate the Vault
The task begins once you leave the purification vault on Eos. Peebee will find the first data core, which will automatically be added to your quest inventory.
Defeat the Architect on Eos
You receive the second data core from the Remnant Architect on Eos. In order to defeat the Architect on Eos you will first need to access the secondary operation Making An Impression. Go and talk to Hainly Abrams to access this operation which requires the placement of three seismic hammers to disrupt the seismic activity on Eos. The placement of the the third and final hammer will begin the fight with the Remnant Architect. For more details see the Eos Architect Details section. All the Remnant Architects you defeat will provide one data core. Although you won’t see the actual data core, it will automatically be added to your inventory.
Voeld
Activate the Vault
The next data core is in the Voeld purification vault. Note that you can only acquire it the first time you enter the vault. Interact with the remnant consoles to get it.
Kett Output Devices
The fourth data core is part of Task: Subjugation. You don’t necessarily have to perform the task; you can go here at any time.
Defeat the Architect on Voeld
The fifth data core is part of the Voeld Remnant Architect. Get the Task: Missing Scientists from Priya Blake at the Voeld AI outpost. Follow the trail of evidence to discover what happened to the missing scientists. As you uncover clues about their disappearance you will also follow the path of their untimely deaths leading to an encounter with the Architect on Voeld. Defeat the architect to get this data core. Kadara
Activate the Vault
The next data core is in the Kadara purification vault. This one is in the north section of the vault.
Defeat the Architect on Kadara
The seventh data core involves defeating the Remnant Architect is Kadara. The Architect is located in the far western portion of the map. For more details see the Kadara Architect Details section.
Elaaden
Activate the Vault
The eighth data core is in the Elaaden purification vault. From the starting location, go to the room to the east. Just solve the remnant console puzzle to get the data core.
Locate the Optional Vault
The ninth data core is part of the Elaaden optional vault, located in the southwest portion of the map.
Defeat the Architect on Elaaden
The tenth data core involves the Remnant Architect on Elaaden. To trigger this, you must find the remnant drive core and give it to Morda. After doing so, she will let you create an outpost on the planet. Defeat the Remnant Architect to get this data core. For more details see the Elaaden Architect Details section.
Khi Tasira
The last data core is in Khi Tasira. Visit the research tower and interact with the console. After the blue walls drop, look to the right of the console to see another one on a different platform. Interact with it to open the door.
