Mass Effect: Andromeda Collector's Edition eGuide Secondary Ops

Task: Path of a Hero

Mission Type: Heleus Assignment: Nexus

Prerequisite: Establish a settlement on Eos

Start Location: Nexus Operations

Unlocking: Read email from Keri after returning from Eos

Read Email from Keri

After settling Eos, you receive an email from Keri to come talk to her on the Nexus about the successful mission. Read the “Free for an Interview?” email to begin the mission.

Speak with Keri About Events on Eos

Nexus Operations: Addison’s Office

After Mission 2, an asari journalist named Keri T’Vessa (1) wants to interview you for her documentary about current events. If you refuse the offer, Keri interviews Director Tann instead. These Heleus News Service reports are heard throughout the Nexus over the public audio system. The mission starts after you settle Eos. Find Keri at the front window of Nexus operations. She asks how you relax between missions. Have some fun with the responses; you can tell the truth or paint a rosy picture of how things are on each planet. Tann would rather you take a positive propaganda approach and is not pleased if you tell the truth.

Speak with Keri About the Angara

After visiting Aya, you receive an email from Keri. She wants to do an interview with you on camera about the garden world of Aya. The email is titled “Can We Talk? (On Camera).”

Nexus Common

When you talk to Keri (2), she wants you to comment on first contact with the angara. If you flirt with her, she still continues with the interview. When she asks about settling on Aya, you can answer, “Maybe, with permission,” or “No. Aya belongs to the angara.” The latter is the truth.

If you hit on her, the camera goes off, and she talks about a possible relationship after the documentary is done. You can ask if she’s still interested if you’re romancing someone else. She admits she would neither interfere nor tattle.

Speak with Keri About Kadara

After “Hunting the Archon” takes you to Kadara and you interrogate the prisoner, you receive an email from Keri. She wants some info on the exiles at Kadara. She has good sources.

Nexus Common

After reading the email concerning an interview about Kadara, stop by and talk to Keri near the docks. Again, if you paint a rosy picture, Tann continues to praise you. You can lie about the exiles on Kadara and say, “They’re not the real threat,” or tell the truth and answer, “Yes. They’re still the enemy.”

Speak with Keri’s Producer

Nexus: Docks

Around Mission 5, you receive an email from the producer, Hakim. He says something’s happened and wants to meet you on the Nexus. Head to the Nexus docks to find Harkim (3) there waiting to speak to you. He tells you that Keri has been locked up in the militia office, arrested for conspiracy to incite unrest. Take the tram (4) to operations.

Find Keri in the Militia Cells

Nexus Operations

Head to the cells in operations to find Keri (5). Speak to her. She stands strong, yet you get a chance to cheer her up through conversation. She currently remains in jail but tells you that she’ll contact you again if something comes up. This mission goes on hold until Keri’s next interview slot.

Speak with Keri About the Remnant City

Nexus Common: 2F

After you visit Khi Tasira, Keri sends an email titled “I’m Free.” It’s an invite to come see her at the Nexus to talk about the Remnant. You can find her (6) in the Common on the top floor overlooking the docks. Turns out her arrest was a clerical error. Don’t you just hate it when that happens? If you want to spread the truth, you can hand over SAM’s recordings of everything that happened in Meridian. It finishes out her documentary. She then starts hinting on vacation plans with you.

Meet Keri at the Vortex

If you’ve been romancing Keri, you can head down to the Vortex and find her (7) waiting for you (no matter how fast you run there). Sit and talk with her. If you’re in another serious relationship, don’t worry; she talked with the bartender to signal if that person shows up. You can dig in and find out more about Keri during this encounter. Ask her about herself. Eventually she asks you to skip out of the bar, and when control returns to you, you’re leaving her apartment.

Speak with Keri About Meridian

After completing the Primary Ops story quest, of course Keri (8) wants the exclusive. Go see her on the second level of the Nexus Common near the apartments. Speaking to her now finishes this quest, signaling that you’ve given her your last news report. You say a possible goodbye to a friend. You earn a small amount of AVP for completing this quest.

Find Keri in Her apartment

Nexus Common: 2F

Toward the end of the interviews, Keri may end up in her apartment, hiding from colonists angry about her documentary. If you’ve been sugarcoating the truth to make Keri like you, she locks herself in the apartment (9) until you talk her out. She says the documentary made Heleus seem too safe to the colonist viewers, and when they got there, they saw a different story. Naturally they started mobbing her. You need only share some of the blame and be nice to coax her out and complete the quest. How’d she get all that nonsense in her head anyway?
