Recover Three Components
As you explore Eos, you may run across Remnant sites like this one (1). Investigate closely; behind this one you can find a researcher’s data station. Collect three components (datapads) from three sites to continue to the next objective. There are multiple sites. Here are a few more:
There’s a station (2) near the forward station south of Site 2: Resilience.
There’s a datapad (3) in a location by the side of a mountain road just northeast of the kett base. You see kett battling Remnant. Help them defeat each other and find the datapad on a crate. It’s the researcher’s notes.
There’s a datapad(4) south of the Remnant monolith lake (where Peebee finds rem-tech). It’s at a Remnant site covered in Scourge energy pockets.

East Eos
It’s possible you could stumble upon this mission by accident while hunting for minerals in east Eos. Use Gravity Wells to reduce radiation. Enter the Gravity Well (5) indicated on our map and explore the lower floor to find a squatter’s campsite. It’s to your left as you reach the vault floor.
There are three datapads to examine: “New Journal: Ana Carrell, Day 1,” “Day 8,” and “Final Entry.” She discovered the Remnant’s power to restore life on planets and wants the reader to get this information back to the Nexus.
While in the Vault…
Head to the back of the vault and get onto the upper platform where the Remnant console is located. Scan it for Research Data, then activate it to open the door to the secret room with a Destroyer inside.
Defeat the Destroyer, then raid the two containers. The larger one requires that you beat a Remnant Decryption Puzzle. Scan the Adaptive Remnant Core Device in the middle of the room before you leave.

Deliver the Data to Prodromos
In Prodromos, enter the building (6) near the Tempest. Inside is a terminal on the left wall near a window. Interact with it. It’s a database of Ana Carrell’s journals. The last entry is “Request: Information on Ana Carrell.” Select this to upload the information Ana discovered concerning the Remnant. This completes the mission and rewards you a fair amount of XP.
