Mass Effect: Andromeda Collector's Edition eGuide Multiplayer Multiplayer Skills and Powers

Overview

Unlike Single-Player, Mass Effect: Andromeda’s Multiplayer mode features skill sets specific to each individual character. Each Multiplayer character features three powers and two skills.

Powers: Powers are manually activated and require either a recharge period or a power cell for each use.

Skills: Skills are passive, meaning they remain constantly active through an entire match, always granting their benefits.

One skill point is invested into each power for every character once they’re unlocked. Passive skills don’t come with any skill points invested, leaving you to choose whether you want to activate them. As you level up your character via experience, you gain skill points at a rate of three per level. You earn a small additional amount of skill points when you receive duplicate cards of the same character. Points are not traded between characters. In other words, if you invest in a skill or power that multiple characters share, the bonus only applies to the character in which you invest the points. To change or refund skill points spent, purchase a Character Re-Spec from the Item Store with mission funds. Using the Re-Spec completely refunds your skill points, allowing you to refocus your spending.
