Start Location: Defeat the kett at Site 1 during Priority Op mission “A Better Beginning”

Investigate the Kett Presence
Kett Base
You discover the kett presence during the kett attack at Site 1 (1) when you first land on Eos and attempt to acquire the Nomad. The next step is to find their base (3) or outpost (2). Prepare for a battle when you discover their mountainside outpost, which sits on a cliff ledge below the main kett base. This is a serious battle for beginners. Consider leveling up before clearing the kett from the base.
Find a Way Inside the Kett Power Facility
Begin at the front door (3) and use the crates on the front “lawn” to protect yourself from the kett and their two turrets guarding the entrance. Snipe the turrets first and then begin clearing the kett from the front porch.
Unlock the Shield Gate
When most of the kett are dead, run up to the left of the locked door and hack the locked console. This gives you a hacking zone around the console and two minutes to hold your ground while you wait for the shield to go down. Defeat the dropship deployments of kett, including Anointed, Chosen, and Destined. Use the crates for cover and the many ammo crates around to keep you shooting. Once the hack timer is complete, the shield goes down and you can enter the facility.
Optional: Access the Kett Shield Array
Completing the optional objectives stops the dropships from continually delivering kett. First, defeat the kett through the entryway (4). Then use the console on the lower-level platform ahead of you (5). This sets the shield generators to overload.
Optional: Set the Shield Generators to Overload
Note the two platforms (6) and (7). These are two generators you must sabotage. Tackle them in either order. A dropship deploys enemies at each location. Continue to battle the kett.
Overload the Kett Shield Array
After sabotaging both generators, head to the top platform near the entrance and deactivate the console (8) facing the unexplored side of the kett base. This decreases kett reinforcements.
Access the Stronghold Core
Press forward across the central platform (9) and defeat the Destined and Anointed. Jump down to a lower platform (10) and then enter the main facility (11).
Investigate the Kett Presence
To finish the initial objective, head into the base (11), battling the Anointed, Destined, Chosen, and Wraiths. Follow the navpoint to the top floor, jumping from the lower floor to one of the openings on the balconies above where you enter the base. Deactivate the console (12) near the window. Doing so triggers a lockdown via remote security measures.
Override Three Security Terminals
You must locate all three security consoles to override the lockdown. The one that started the mess counts as the first terminal (12). Stay on the second floor for now. Turn around, run out across the left platform, and jump down to the lower platform on the left to find the next console (13). Resist entering the open building to the left of the console; instead jump down to the lower pathway (14) and follow it to the balcony holding the last console (15). Deactivate the lockdown.
Access the rightmost walkway (17) and follow it around to the right-side entrance of the stronghold core (18). Use the console inside to open a round hole in the floor. Drop in and defeat the kett below (19) as you make your way down the stairs to the lower base.
Reach the Command Center
On the lower levels (19), defeat the Chosen, Anointed, and even more Chosen along the route to the command center (20).
Eliminate the Kett Invictor
Once in the command center, you’re tasked with eliminating the Invictor. You can usually find him on the top floor around the left side (21). Shoot his orbital cube first, then take him out.
Clear out Remaining Defenders
Clear this large room of all remaining kett. Use the radar. Look for red and hunt them down; sometimes they cling to cover positions.
Unlock Access to the Zenith Observation Room
When the kett are all cleared, use the console (22) in the middle of the lower floor to open the next door (23). Pass through the short hallway and open the door on the left (24). Use the elevator controls (25) to ascend to the zenith observation room.

Disable the Kett Power Facility
Step off the elevator (25) into the zenith observation room. Raid all the containers and scan the kett core encryption tech. Lastly, approach the console near the window and use it to knock the base offline. That completes the quest. You earn a very large amount of AVP, and Eos Viability gets a +10% increase.
