Name: Armor names vary within a set. For instance, the first Heleus helmet is named “Heleus Defender Helmet I,” the third rank is “Heleus Champion Helmet III,” and the fifth is “Helmet Champion Helmet V.” Name difference is accompanied with slightly altered aesthetics.
Stat Boosts: The armor system is a bit different from conventional armor systems found in other games. Armor does not inherently improve defense. Instead, each set provides unique bonuses catering to certain strengths and playstyles. The stat boost values listed in the following section show the value provided of the first rank of the item, followed by the value provided by the fifth and tenth rank. For example, the first rank of the angaran helmet boosts tech power damage (3/7/12%) by 3%, the fifth rank boosts it by 7%, and the tenth rank boosts it by 12%. Values of ranks in between progressively increase as expected.
Augmentation Slots: Number of augmentations that can be applied when crafting this weapon through the research-and-development console. Unlike crafted weapons, the first rank of armors does have augmentation slots.
Blueprint Cost: Amount of research data (RD) required of its technology type (MWS, angara/kett, Remnant) to purchase the blueprint of the first rank of the item. The value in parentheses is how much the cost increases per extra rank (e.g., Cyclone Rank 1 costs 100 MWS RD; Rank 2 costs 110).
