Mass Effect: Andromeda Collector's Edition Guide › Secondary Ops

Peebee’s Secret Project

Mission Type: Allies and Relationships

Prerequisite: Complete the vault challenge on Eos

Start Location: Tempest

Unlocking: Talk to Peebee after completing the Eos vault

Speak to Peebee in the Tempest Escape Pod

Tempest

When you enter the escape pod (1) on the bridge, Peebee tells you not to peek; she’s trying to keep her project under wraps until she’s ready to reveal it. She thanks you for retrieving the critical piece of rem-tech she needed. You have an opportunity during this conversation to hit on her with a passionate response. She says next time you’re on the Nexus, she’ll reveal her secret project.

Check your Email from Peebee

After the escape pod, read your email from Peebee titled “Rem-Tech,” in which she asks if you can help her get one piece of rem-tech from Voeld. The navpoint on Voeld is given.

Recover the Rem-Tech from the Remnant Site

Voeld

While exploring Voeld and near the daar of Techiix, look for the navpoint in the north directing you to the piece for Peebee’s secret project (2). You discover a Remnant monolith at this site and about a dozen Remnant guarding it. Defeat the Remnant Breachers and Observers.

Before you move in to grab the Remnant relic sitting in the middle of the monolith platform, look around for a Remnant glyph symbol (Verdurous Glyph) just as you would to solve one of the Remnant Decryption Puzzles. In this case, you only need one, and there’s no jumping involved; the glyph is located on the outer side of a block that sits on the edge of the monolith base platform. Solve the puzzle to obtain Peebee’s rem-tech.

The order of glyphs used to solve the puzzle.

Speak to Peebee in the Tempest Escape Pod

Tempest

When you try to enter the escape pod, Peebee pushes you back to the door to hide what she’s working on inside. She thanks you for recovering the rem-tech, but no peeking! She says next time you’re on the Nexus, her project will be done. She invites you there at the end of the conversation.

Meet with Peebee in Her Nexus Apartment

Nexus: Commons

Next time you’re on the Nexus, head to the second floor and explore the apartments beyond hydroponics. Peebee lets you into her apartment when you try to open the locked door—the last door on the right (3). Inside, you notice Peebee is a bit of a slob. She reveals her secret project at last: Poc (proof of concept). After the big reveal, Kalinda, an ex-friend of Peebee’s, lets herself into the room and seems very interested in Poc. After you walk her out, you can talk to Peebee about her relationship with Kalinda.

Remnant VI Unlocked

Your introduction to Poc in Peebee’s apartment unlocks Remnant VI. This power allows you to call upon “Zap,” a controllable Remnant Observer.

Mission on Hold

The game says the mission goes on hold, but “Peebee’s Secret Project” ends here. The story continues in “Peebee’s Remnant Scanner.” However, you must wait for Peebee to learn more about the Remnant, which happens in Mission 3. You must also speak to Gil on the Tempest about the kett transponder, and complete “Peebee: The Museum Trip” on Aya.
