Aya: Docks or Repository of History
Speak to Avela Kjar (1), who’s at the docking area if you aren’t allowed into the city, or at the Repository of History once you can roam free. She’s the curator for the Repository of History. They study relics and try to piece together what they lost in the Scourge. She tells you about the many angaran ships that went down in Havarl. A scientist sent her a navpoint for a crash site. She’s concerned about the Remnant threat, but heard you can deal with them. Agree to help her.
Locate the Ancient Crash Site on Havarl
Havarl: Chasm of the Builders
When you make it to Havarl, find the ancient crash site in the middle of the map (2). The ancient angaran starship wreck is in the water under the bridge (which is not operational until you advance the story a bit more). Be prepared to battle Remnant Observers and Assemblers in this area. Use the stair-like ledges on the west side of the Chasm of the Builders to reach the water’s edge. Scan the wreckage and loot the containers around it.
Investigate the Crash Site
Approach the starship and interact with the cockpit from the east side of the wreckage. You pick up an ancient angaran pilot’s helmet. This relic needs to be returned to Avela.
Return the Relic to Avela on Aya
When you’re back on Aya, return to Avela in the museum (1). Hand over the angaran pilot’s helmet you found on Havarl. This helmet will go on display at the museum. Speak to her again to begin the “Forgotten History” quest.
