Ja Niihk Frozen Dig Site: Ice Cave

Carved Figure

To recover the angaran statuette, you must enter Ja Niihk (1), but to do so you must first lower the kett force field over this frozen dig site. This requires you to complete “Remove the Heart,” which is a lengthy quest through the kett mountain base. Once in the ice cave, and while saving the angaran prisoners, head to the room in the northwest (with a question mark icon over it on the map) and find the relic behind some crates (2) near the back-left wall. Scan and then pick up this carved figure.

Search Kadara for an Angaran Relic

Kadara

Musical Instrument

Find the angaran artifact (3) on the top of the peak in Kurith’s Valley. This one is a musical instrument.

Search Elaaden for an Angaran Relic

Elaaden

Star Map

Land on Elaaden and find the angaran artifact (4) on a dais in the middle of the angaran ruins in the northwest corner of the map. This is the star map.

Return the Found Angaran Relics to Avela on Aya

Return the carved figure, the musical instrument, and the star map to Avela to complete the quest. If you’ve been romancing Avela, you can now take your relationship to the next level in “Task: Past, Present and Future.” Wait for an email from Avela titled “I found something.”
