After you speak to Director Tann about settling Eos (during the quest “Nexus Reunion”), Raj Patel starts work outside Tann’s office near the stairs. Raj (1) is showered by electrical sparks. He’s surprised there have been three malfunctions in equipment this long after the mutiny. He suspects a saboteur. He trusts you since you were in stasis while the mutiny went down. Agree to help him.
Raj sends the locations of the malfunctioning systems to your omni-tool. He asks you to send the scan data from the three locations.
Investigate the Ops Center Site
Head down the stairs near the Information Wall. At the bottom of the stairs, pivot left and scan the wall panel in the nook (2).
Investigate the Militia Site
Head across the hallway and enter the militia office. Scan the back wall on the opposite side of the room from Kandros. Scan the sabotaged panel (3).
Investigate thePathfinder HQ Site
Enter Director Tann’s office and scan the wall to your immediate left to find another sabotaged panel (4). Scan the wall in the same location to trace a line through the wall, running out of the office and up to the top deck of Colonial Affairs. Scan the power junction box (5) on the back wall of the upper deck.
The third panel in operations is on the wall (6) near the entrance to Kesh’s office. Scan to see a conduit running through the wall from the console beside the stairs (2) to this one. When all panels have been scanned, Raj contacts you and determines that the malfunctions are indeed the result of sabotage, and that Zarah Kellus worked on these panels. She’s currently on the Hyperion in the habitation deck.
Confront the Saboteur
Hyperion: Habitation Deck
Travel from operations to the habitation deck. With this quest selected, follow the navpoint to Zarah Kellus, who’s working on the central console in the atrium. Confront her (7) with the evidence of sabotage, and she claims both she and Raj have been framed.
Investigate the Security Footage
Nexus Operations
Travel from the Habitation Deck back to Nexus Operations. Enter the Colonial Affairs office on the lower floor. A security console (8) can be accessed here. Find the security footage. Activate the three different security footage files within the interface, only to find them all corrupt.

Scan Security Personnel in the Ops Center
SAM can identify the culprit from the scrambled security footage if you scan for human males on the Nexus and Hyperion. Start by climbing the stairs and scanning the security guard, Liev Dutil (9). He’s not the culprit. Head back down the stairs and scan Bart Cummings, who’s standing behind Kandros near the Strike Team Missions interface. Not it.
Scan Nexus Security Transferred to the Hyperion
Hyperion: Habitation Deck
Travel back to the Hyperion habitation deck and scan the kneeling security guard (10) in the first room to the right. SAM reports a partial positive reading and says this is most likely your suspect.
Confront Dale
Dale Atkins (10) reports to Kandros, so he’d have the clearance to pull off this high-level sabotage. Confront him, and he confesses and tells you to do whatever you want with him. You can choose to exile Dale with “You need to go,” or turn him over to Nexus leadership by choosing “Not up to me.” Either way, you earn a fair amount of AVP and XP for completing the mission.
