Access Data on the Terminal Inside the Research Building
Eos: Prodromos
After settling Prodromos (1) at Eos, enter the research building (2) and access the terminal. Select “Please Help” and check out the “Work Rosters: Week 2” entry. It’s about a group of settlers hacking Remnant technology, trying to turn the machines into friendly assistants. The person who left the note is worried about the possible ramifications of such an experiment.
Find the Work Rosters
Follow the navpoint to the top floor of the two-story structure (3).
Investigate Medbay
Enter the top floor of the building next door (4). Scan the medical equipment. Ryder learns this machine was used to treat wounds caused by the Remnant and that the crew has tried to control them before. You can also converse with a medic, Ramirez, in the same room.
Investigate the Monolith Site
Drive to the navpoint northeast of the settlement to the monolith (5). Jump up the tall platforms to reach the top and the monolith console.
Scan the Communications Equipment
On the first tier of the monolith base and a little to the left is a communications array. Scan it to find an open comms channel on the unit.
Get to the Work Crew
You now have 2:26 to reach the next location. If you fail to get there in time, most of the crew dies. Access your map and place a waypoint on the marked monolith navpoint due east from your position (7).
Defeat the Remnant
Using the forward station as a shortcut, you should make it to the site with 1:46 left on the clock. Quickly exit the Nomad and begin attacking the three Observers, the Assembler, and the Nullifier. Assign your teammates to attack one while you attack another until they’re all destroyed.
Speak to the Survivor(s)
If you’re on time, you save the entire crew. However, if you’re late, you find a sole survivor. Save them all to speak to Jennings. You earn 570 XP. Afterward, loot the area of goods and scan Remnant and the Adapted Initiative Core Tech.
