You receive an urgent S.O.S. signal from someone in serious trouble as you drive in Kurinth’s Valley in the northwest section of Kadara. Chase the signal (and navpoint) to a gully in the west (2).
If the quest “Contagion” is active, you see a wrecked shuttle up on the hill to the right. You then pass an outpost (3) with one of those floaty things overhead. That’s part of “Contagion” too.
When you reach the hut (4) on stilts hanging way over the side of a cliff, you’ve come to the right place. Enter this hut through the unlocked front door.
Speak to the Person who Sent the S.O.S. Signal
Inside the hut (4), you meet two humans getting high on their supply. Scan them. They’re baked! Read the datapads “Thoughts” and “Buyers.” Talk to the Outlaws. You tell them you came because of the emergency S.O.S. One Outlaw says a plant in the corner is dying. It’s an emergency because that’s how they make their living—selling medicinal assistance. Their UV lamp broke and they need another. This completes the mission. You earn some XP. Scan the unknown plant in the room before you leave.
