Mission Type: Heleus Assignment: Voeld
Prerequisite: Complete “On the Front Lines”
Start Location: Voeld
Unlocking: Complete the mission “On the Front Lines”
Speak to Skeot at Hjara
Voeld: Hjara
At the angaran research base, Hjara (1), speak to Skeot (2) to complete the first stage of the mission “On the Front Lines.” Skeot’s father died in a kett labor camp, and Skeot doesn’t want his captured Uncle Niilj to fall to a similar fate. He sends you a navpoint to Niilj’s location.
Reach the Kett Holding Site
Get back in the Nomad and travel northeast to the northern holding site (3). Exit the Nomad when you approach, and quickly look for cover; it doesn’t take long for the kett to spot you.
Rescue the Captured Angara
Northern Holding Site
The best approach is the northwest bridge entrance to the compound. We’ve mapped a helpful route through the facility. Start by crossing the bridge near the first ground-level cell (4). If you have ranged weapons, take up cover before you cross the first bridge, and eliminate as many kett as you can see around the entire base before moving in.
Battle the Chosen and Destined guards, along with the Wraiths, while advancing through the compound, using cover when available. Find and deactivate the prison cell consoles to free the angara. When you free a prisoner (5), they take up arms and help you fight the kett.
Clear the Remaining Kett
Work through the compound, freeing prisoners. Be prepared for kett to enter the battle via dropship when you approach the main building and its landing platforms. Defeat the enemy and free the final two angara (6)(7) for a total of four freed prisoners.
Speak to the Rescued Angara
Skeot’s Uncle Niilj is released from one of the cells (7). He’s likely to move to the platform in front of the main building. Tell him (8) that Skeot sent you. He needs a data drive (of downloaded info from the kett network) delivered to Buxil so she can begin analysis. This completes “Stage a Rescue” and unlocks “Meet the Family.” Raid the containers in the central building before leaving.
