Locate Data Caches
Elaaden
SAM extracts an entrance code for an intriguing Remnant vault after you successfully find and scan four Remnant data caches. The particular Remnant sites where these data caches spawn are static; however, the data caches themselves spawn randomly at some of these sites.
To beat the randomness, we’ve marked our map with the locations of all possible static Remnant sites. We’ve also numbered four of them where we found the caches: (1), (2), (3), (4). Keep in mind that these data caches spawn at Remnant sites, which are always guarded by Remnant. Look for a magnifying-glass icon over the caches. They’re scannable and identified as “Remnant Data Cache.”
Enter the Remnant Facility
Once you’ve scanned four of the data caches, SAM gets a lock on the vault location. Follow the navpoint (5) to the northeast desert to find the hidden Remnant vault. Take the Gravity Well down to reach it.
Acquire the Remnant Data
Run through the vault, killing Raiders, Adhi, Pariahs, Anarchists, and two Destroyers. Get them all out of the way so you can reach the farthest chamber.
Once you make it to the back chamber, follow the navpoint to the prize: two Adaptive Remnant Core Devices sitting on Remnant shelves. Make sure to scan both and to empty the nearby container of its loot.
