Mass Effect: Andromeda Collector's Edition eGuide Secondary Ops

Life on the Frontier

Mission Type: Heleus Assignment: Nexus

Prerequisite: Mission 2, Nexus Phase 2 after opening Aya

Start Location: Nexus Operations

Unlocking: Speak to Sid in Addison’s office, or read her “Something Suspicious” email

Meet with Sid on the Nexus

Nexus: Operations

To start this mission, read Sid’s “Something Suspicious” email, or talk to her (1) while she’s working in Addison’s office on the Nexus in operations. She explains she’s found something interesting while monitoring comms on the Nexus. She’s discovered multiple attacks by people called the Three Sabers, who are hitting outposts and supply vessels.

She goes on to say the Three Sabers are receiving intel from within your organization, which means there’s a mole. Take the mission by responding, “It’s worth investigating.” Sid sends you navpoints for the Three Sabers’ most recent raids.

Investigate Space Attacks on Nexus Ships

There are four systems to search for space attacks (from left to right): Solminae, Joba, Nalesh, and Jirayder. Not all of these may be opened when more space attacks hit. This mission lasts a while unless you hold off on attempting it until all the systems are unlocked.

Four Space Attack Navpoints

Scan each of the four systems for anomalies, and then investigate those sites. You find four sets of starship wreckage: one with a leaky drive, one with no clues, one that prompts Suvi to confirm you’re narrowing down the list of possibilities, and the final one that gives you the Three Sabers’ location and navpoint on Kadara.

Follow the Three Sabers to Their Hideout

Kadara

Fly to the Govorkam system and land at Kadara Port, then take the travel terminal to the Kadara Slums. There, hop the warden’s fence and get to the Nomad near the forward station (2). Use the forward station (3) in Spirit’s Ledge to get very close to your destination (4) just over or around the bend.

Defeat the Three Sabers

Attacking this outpost with the large landing pad is best done from up high. Driving over the hill from the forward station (3) puts you on the hill just above the complex. Snipe the Agents and Raiders delivered via dropship. Defeat all remaining enemies and then search the hideout.

Search the Hideout

There are things to find and scan on the first floor, but the target prize is the datapad titled “Three Sabers Memo,” sitting on a water cooler on the second floor. It mentions someone named Yale at Eos. Go to Eos.

Speak to Yale

Eos: Prodromos

Enter the Prodromos building (5). Inside, talk to Yale, and don’t let up on him during the conversation. He doesn’t need to be pacified. Tell him you need to make a report, which seems to worsen matters, as Addison already knows. Go talk to Addison.

Confront Addison

Nexus Operations

Head to Addison’s office in Nexus operations. Speak to Addison (6) about the data. Turns out she was waiting for you, as Yale told her to expect a visit. Respond to her question regarding the elimination of the Three Sabers with either “Doesn’t erase what you did” or “Yes.”

She admits that she made a poor decision, but as far as anyone knows, the Three Sabers acted on their own. That’s when Sid, Vetra’s sister, enters the discussion. Introduce the two by replying, “Vetra’s sister” or “Sid started the investigation.”

As Addison and Sid argue over whether to expose the truth, you’re given the choice to side with Sid (exposing the truth) or with Addison (hiding the truth to hopefully quash another angaran uprising).
