After gaining Jaal’s loyalty, and if you’re on good terms with him, you receive an email titled “Meet My True Mother” when you return to the Tempest. Jaal has asked you to accompany him to Havarl to meet his mother.

From the landing zone (1), head to the nearby forward station (2) at the Pelaav Research Station, then get to the top of the shuttle platform. Interact with the angaran shuttle parked there.
Sahuna Ama Darav comes running to greet you and Jaal—especially Jaal. He introduces her to you as his true mother. You can hug her if you follow the command prompt in the lower right of the screen fast enough. She talks Jaal up as if you’re going to marry him. He then leads you into a room full of family members.
He takes you to his room and shows you a kett weapon he took apart when he was seven. And he saves the best for last, turning on his celestial map projector and filling the room with holographic solar systems.
