Werewolf

Maximum Rank: Werewolf Rank 10

Maximum Investment: 21 Skill Points

Like Vampirism, Lycanthropy grants powerful benefits while inflicting significant penalties. A character with Lycanthropy can ignore the affliction without consequence, but if you plan to utilize the Werewolf form, a heavy investment in the Werewolf skill line is recommended.

While transformed into a Werewolf, you only have access to Werewolf abilities; outside of transformations, only the Werewolf Ultimate Ability can be used.

While it does contain one Magicka ability, the Werewolf skill line clearly favors Stamina use. Invest in Maximum Stamina, Stamina Recovery, Weapon Damage, and Weapon Critical if you want to make the most of Werewolf transformations.

Ultimate Ability

Werewolf Transformation

True to its name, Werewolf Transformation is what allows your character to transform into a Werewolf—if you want to take advantage of Lycanthropy, this ability must be slotted on your Action Bar.

While in Werewolf form, your light attacks inflict the Bleeding effect, your Physical and Spell Resistance are dramatically improved, your sprint speed is increased, and your unlocked Werewolf abilities appear on your Action Bar. Activating Werewolf Transformation also fears nearby enemies.

While Werewolf Transformation is slotted, your Stamina Recovery is increased by 15%. This bonus is applied whether or not your character is in Werewolf form.

Remember: Werewolf Transformation carries a very high Ultimate cost, and the effect has a fairly short duration. It also increases your vulnerability to Poison Damage, so take all necessary precautions.

Passive Abilities

The Werewolf skill line contains six Passive Abilities. Devour and Blood Moon are single-rank Passives; all other Werewolf Passives offer two ranks.

Simply slotting Werewolf Transformation represents a large investment in the Werewolf skill line, and all available Passives help ensure that you get the most out of this Ultimate Ability. Still, it takes a lot of Skill Points to unlock all available Werewolf abilities—you might face some tough choices when it comes to the skill line’s Passives.

Consider prioritizing Pursuit and Savage Strength. Most of the remaining Werewolf Passives affect the duration of your transformation, so it’s best to choose options that best suit your playstyle.
