The six crafting professions use an Experience-like system known as Inspiration for leveling. Once you reach a certain number of Inspiration Points, you gain a crafting rank (from 1 to 50). The higher the quality of the item, the more Inspiration you receive. Generally, you receive Inspiration for completing any of the following activities:Creating an item from base components
- Improving an item you’ve acquired or already crafted
- Extracting elements from an item
- Refining an item
- Completing crafting writs
