Found inside numerous Tamriel buildings—including houses, Guild Halls, and shops—Safeboxes hold the townsfolk’s most precious valuables. To get inside, the lock must be picked, just like a locked door or chest. Safeboxes are always guarded, so stealth is advised. Oftentimes, an NPC or two occupy the nearby area. Patiently wait for them to move away and quickly pick the lock. Once spotted, though, infamy is added and the citizen(s) may become hostile.
