Weapon Types: Dual Wield, Bow
Armor Focus: Medium
Mundus Stone: Thief
Bar 1: Dual Wield
Key Abilities
| Ability | Description |
|---|---|
|
Bloodthirst: Morphed from Flurry (Dual Wield). This is your single-target damage ability. It also heals you for a percentage of the damage done by the attack’s final blow, making it an important part of your survivability. |
|
Blood Craze: Morphed from Twin Slashes (Dual Wield). This is your single-target damage-over-time attack and another source of self-healing. Keep it active for the duration of every fight. |
|
Steel Tornado: Morphed from Whirlwind (Dual Wield). This is your primary area-of-effect attack. It has impressive range, and its damage increases as targets lose Health. Use it whenever you face multiple enemies. |
|
Bound Armaments: Morphed from Bound Armor (Sorcerer > Daedric Summoning). Grants Minor Resolve, increasing your Physical Resistance. The effect also increases your Maximum Stamina by 8% and your damage done by heavy attacks by 11%. This ability is kept on both Action Bars to ensure that the effect remains active when you swap weapons. |
|
Hurricane: Morphed from Lightning Form (Sorcerer > Storm Calling). This attack deals damage to all nearby enemies for 15 seconds. Over the course of the effect, the damage field grows in size and power. It also grants you Major Resolve and Major Ward, dramatically increasing your defense, and the Minor Expedition buff, which increases your movement speed. |
|
Rend: Morphed from Lacerate (Dual Wield). This Ultimate Ability does heavy Physical Damage over time to nearby enemies in front of you. It also heals you for 50% of the damage done. It’s the Ultimate you want to use in most situations. |
This is your main damage Bar. Use it whenever your targets are within range of your abilities. In order to keep Bound Armaments on both Action Bars, this loadout leaves no slots for additional abilities.
Bar 2: Bow
Key Abilities
| Ability | Description |
|---|---|
|
Poison Injection: Morphed from Poison Arrow (Bow). This ranged attack deals a good amount of Poison Damage over time, but it gets much more powerful when the target’s Health drops below 50%. This is your primary ranged-attack ability. |
|
Critical Surge: Morphed from Surge (Sorcerer > Storm Calling). Grants Major Brutality, increasing Weapon Damage by 20%. While the ability is active, your Critical Strikes grant you Health. This effect can happen up to once per second. |
|
Dark Deal: Morphed from Dark Exchange (Sorcerer > Dark Magic). Converts Magicka into Health and Stamina. This ability has a brief cast time, but it’s an excellent tool for sustainability. |
|
|
Suppression Field: Morphed from Negate Magic (Sorcerer > Dark Magic). This ranged Ultimate Ability creates a globe of magic suppression, damaging and stunning all NPCs within the target area. Enemy players will be silenced rather than stunned. It’s a powerful crowd-control option that should be used sparingly. |
This is your ranged/utility Bar. Use it when you need to activate buffs or attack from range. Consider placing Arrow Spray (Bow) or one of its morphs in the remaining slot. Otherwise, use the remaining slot for an ability you find useful.
Priority Passives
Useful Passives should become available at a manageable rate. Invest in your core Passives before moving on to less essential skill lines.
Equipment Recommendations
| Weapons |
|---|
| Priority Trait: Sharpened |
| Priority Enchantment: Weapon Damage |
| Once you’ve invested in the Dual Wield Passives, each weapon type offers its own benefits. Experiment with different combinations until you find one that suits you. |
| Your best weapon options come from the Maelstrom Arena or high-level sets. Of course, it takes a fair amount of effort to obtain top-shelf items. Until you manage to do so, use the highest-quality versions you can get your hands on. |
| Sharpened is the Damage-Dealer’s most useful weapon trait. Precise is also worth considering. As for enchantments, favor Weapon Damage for your main hand. A Crushing enchantment would be a good choice for your off-hand weapon. |
| The combination of Sharpened and Weapon Damage also works well for your bow. |
| Armor |
|---|
| Priority Trait: Divines |
| Priority Enchantment: Maximum Stamina |
| Once you’ve invested in the related Passives, keep at least five pieces of medium armor equipped. The Undaunted Mettle Passive Ability rewards wearing a mix of armor types, but it’s hard to go wrong with a full suit of high-quality medium armor. |
| Aim for equipment that grants helpful set bonuses, but always use the best equipment available to you. Prioritize medium armor that offers Maximum Stamina enchantments. Divines is a popular trait outside of PvP, but consider using head, chest, and leg pieces that offer the Infused trait to make the most of your enchantments. |
| Jewelry |
|---|
| Priority Trait: Robust |
| Priority Enchantment: Weapon Damage |
| Until you manage to track down useful set pieces, use anything that increases Weapon Damage. |
