* One of the following combinations spawns into the northern corners of the chamber: four Spiders, two Spiders and a Sphere, or two Spheres. Destroy the group and more roll in; the supply never ends.
† Destroy the two Centurions and two more appear, though that’s where the giants end.
Find Nchulaeon in the center of Nchuleftingth Core, accessible from the Nchuleftingth Ruins. The large Dwarven automation begins by moving into the western room, where it parks itself in a charging station, while Dwarven Spiders spew out of the surrounding holes. Stay out of the boss’s way as it moves, or risk being knocked down or taking unnecessary damage from its lightning skill. When sitting atop its stand, it cannot be attacked.
Environmental hazards add an extra layer of danger to the fight, so remain aware of your surroundings. Steam shoots out of the floor in the central chamber, Dwarven Charge-Wires flicker on and off as they stretch across the hallways—snaring anyone who breaks the line—and steam pistons jut out of the floor in the central room and from the walls within the hallways. As long as you make some kind of attempt to steer clear of the hazards, they won’t kill you, though they’re capable of finishing you off when your Health is low.
Nchulaeon does not possess many skills itself. Its Overcharge Expulsion launches a lightning bolt at its target as it follows a straight line, and a simple knockback attack has the potential to knock the player down but causes no damage. Look for the boss to flash before the lightning attack, and a gold flicker means it’s about to clear out nearby targets.
After you clear the Spiders out of the western room, a second round of robots appears. Destroy this group, and Nchulaeon dismounts from its perch and rolls into the eastern chamber, pausing for a brief moment at its original position. Dwarven Spheres and Arquebuses file into the second room. After two rounds of the spherical robots are defeated, the boss moves into the southern room, where a Centurion joins a variety of mobs. Defeat two more rounds to force the boss back into the center, where it remains for the duration of the fight—simply pivoting in order to target its enemies.
Two Centurions, along with a mix of Spiders and Spheres, join Nchulaeon the Eternal in the middle room. Destroy the two Centurions and another pair shows up, though that’s it for the giants. The smaller droids continue to spawn after you eliminate the group. Keeping one Spider or Sphere around makes the battlefield much less crowded. With the adds under control, focus your attention on the boss.
Note that if the group is wiped out, the event must be restarted, with Nchulaeon in its original position.
