Exploring Cyrodiil

Location/Item Number in Cyrodiil
Delves 18
Dolmens 10
Mundus Stones 12 (all but the Lord)
Rare Fish 12
Skyshards 46

Many of the same locations and items are discoverable in Cyrodiil as in every other zone. Skyshards, Mundus Stones, rare fish, Dolmens, and a variety of dungeons can be collected and completed. Explore the area cautiously, as most of Cyrodiil is open to PvP combat.

Transitus Network

The Transitus Network has been set up throughout the zone for fast travel, though movement is limited to locations under your alliance’s control, and there must be a connection between your current location and your destination. Travel is performed between Transitus Shrines, which are found inside every keep.

Approach and activate a Transitus Shrine, such as the one found at the border keep at which you begin. This brings up a map of Cyrodiil, displaying the full network of keeps and the links between them. Keeps, temples, outposts, resources, gates, and towns are given a color based on the alliance that currently controls them. A location outlined with a starburst means that it’s under attack.

Lines connect all keeps and outposts and are displayed in red, green, or blue, depending on which alliance can use them. If a keep along the path is captured by an opposing alliance, the line is broken and it can no longer be used for fast travel. A lock indicates that only one alliance may travel along that line. Otherwise, as long as there is an unbroken connection between your current location and destination, travel is possible.

Safe Zones

There are limited safe zones in Cyrodiil, where players are safe from PvP gameplay. Public dungeons are completely PvE, allowing players to take on the bosses alongside members of opposing alliances. Each town has a safe house, where members of the ruling alliance may take refuge away from the war.
