The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind eGuide Training Skills Guild Skill Lines

Fighters Guild

Maximum Rank: Fighters Guild Rank 10

Maximum Investment: 19 Skill Points

The Fighters Guild skill line offers a selection of powerful Stamina abilities, making it a popular line for players focused on Physical Damage. If you plan to use any of these skills, consider prioritizing Maximum Stamina, Stamina Recovery, Weapon Damage, and Weapon Critical.

It can take quite a while to progress the Fighters Guild skill line. Join up as early as possible to ensure that you receive the full benefit of killing Undead, Daedra, and Werewolf enemies.

Ultimate Ability

Dawnbreaker

Dawnbreaker has long been a top-pick Ultimate Ability for Stamina DPS, and it’s not hard to see why. This cone area of effect follows a heavy burst of Physical Damage with a powerful damage-over-time effect. It has decent range, a relatively low cost, and a particularly popular morph that grants a Passive Weapon Damage bonus.

Flawless Dawnbreaker

Increases your Weapon Damage by 5%.

Dawnbreaker of Smiting

Deals increased damage and knocks down affected enemies.

Active Abilities

Silver Bolts

Silver Bolts is a long-range attack that features a nice Snare effect. It’s a great option for Stamina builds that don’t utilize Bow skills.

Silver Shards

Deals less damage, but hits up to five additional enemies.

Silver Leash

Deals more damage. Can be activated a second time to pull yourself to the target.

Circle of Protection

Circle of Protection is an area-of-effect buff that grants you and nearby allies Minor Protection and Minor Endurance, reducing your damage taken by 8% and increasing your Stamina Recovery by 10%.

Circle of Protection affects a relatively small area—and it carries a considerable activation cost—but it’s a nice group-support option for Stamina-heavy builds.

Turn Undead

Fears Undead, Werewolves, and Daedra when activated. Increases the duration of the effect.

Ring of Preservation

Reduces Stamina cost of Dodge Roll for allies within the ring.

Expert Hunter

Activating Expert Hunter reveals any stealthed or invisible enemies within six meters. Exposed enemies cannot return to stealth or invisibility for three seconds. While this ability is slotted, you also receive Major Savagery, increasing your Weapon Critical rating by 2191.

Expert Hunter is a great tool in PvP, but its slotted bonus makes it useful in any situation. Take special note of the Camouflaged Hunter morph—it’s popular choice players who favor sneak attacks.

Evil Hunter

While active, the effect also reduces the Stamina cost of Fighters Guild abilities.

Camouflaged Hunter

Critical hits while crouched grant Minor Berserk, temporarily increasing attack damage by 8%.

Trap Beast

Trap Beast places a trap on the ground, damaging and immobilizing the first enemy to step onto it. It also grants you Minor Force, temporarily increasing your Critical Damage done by 10%.

While the damage-over-time effect is nice, Trap Beast is a great utility skill. It takes a while for the trap to arm, but it can be very effective in crowded areas.

Rearming Trap

The trap resets once after being triggered.

Lightweight Beast Trap

The trap can be placed up to 28 meters away.

Passive Abilities

The Fighters Guild skill line contains five Passive Abilities. Slayer and Banish the Wicked each feature three ranks. The remaining Passives are single-rank abilities.

Intimidating Presence lowers the Stamina cost of all Fighters Guild abilities, but it’s also a handy Passive during basic questing. Banish the Wicked and Skilled Tracker are helpful in many PvE areas, but they grant excellent bonuses in PvP—Vampires and Werewolves can often be found among enemy players.
