Known in the Dunmeri tongue as “Forest of Mushrooms,” this island city requires access via a wade through the islands of the Zafirbel Bay, by Wayshrine, or by boat. This toadstool citadel is the seat of power of House Telvanni.

Visit the Magister by the tent near the shore, and sign up to be a student of the Mages Guild.

The main part of the market square consists of three veteran Guild Traders, able to sell a guild’s wares for the very best prices.

Nilvon’s House

After unlocking the lock (Simple difficulty), investigate this cozy hovel with a cellar and a perturbed stranger questioning why you’re here.

Givyn Tower
Warning: Restricted Area (Trespass)

Access the door (Simple difficulty) and sneak around in here, using the hiding spots if you wish. Beware of sentries attacking you. Inside is a trapdoor leading to a basement. The basement leads to an earthen cavern, more sentries, and a cubbyhole of books.

Sun-in-Shadow’s House

This abode is firmly locked and only available for venturing into during a relevant quest.

Gateway Inn

This tavern offers the finest food and drink, and a couple of choice Lorebooks; one of them is the Vivec Sermon tome you seek (#7), upstairs on the landing table.

Bandas’ House

Another lock (Simple difficulty), and another Dunmeri family rudely interrupted. Expect the guards to be summoned.

Reram’s House
Warning: Restricted Area (Trespass)

After a trickier lock (Advanced difficulty), this dwelling, which is under the canopy of a giant mushroom, offers a grumpy resident decidedly nonplussed by your hijinks.

Council House
Warning: Restricted Area (Trespass)

The main Telvanni Council meets in this imposing structure, with Argonian slave cages situated outside. Inside the structure is a central portal, allowing access to the Council Audience Chamber. Around the edge of the entrance hall are three further doors—to the Tel Branora Mouth Chambers, the Wizard’s Study, and the Council Hall.

Interior (Council Audience Chamber): You may view political wranglings of the Telvanni Council from the seating provided here.

Interior (Tel Branora Mouth Chambers): Rulings from the southern settlement are heard here, in a circular chamber with a fancy seat.

Interior (Wizard’s Study): The head wizard resides in this circular room.

Interior (Council Hall): An imposing grand hall leads to the Mouth Chamber, which you’ll need to trespass to enter.

Tel Naga

The primary mushroom structure of this city, the main circular chamber features a noticeboard you can check for quests, as well as stores and workstations for Alchemy and Enchanting. There’s a door to the Adepts’ Hall, and a central portal to the Magister’s Retreat.

Adepts’ Hall: You must trespass to enter here, so beware of starting a fight with these magicians.

Magister’s Retreat: These are the inner chambers of the ruler of the city. Don’t forget to access the skyshard before leaving Sadrith Mora.
