Running between the Bitter Coast and Red Mountain to the south, from the city of Balmora all the way northward to the Sea of Ghosts and the coastal town of Gnisis, West Gash is an area of grassy highlands that gets progressively rockier the farther north and east you travel. Storms of ash deposit choking clouds and unwanted beasts. House Redoran had a garrison here, but recent bandit gangs—notably the Red Exiles and Warclaws—have caused more than a simple annoyance, and caution should be used when exploring this area.
