Every character has a selection of race-specific Passive Abilities that grant increased Attributes and other useful effects. With 10 races to choose from, the game includes a total of 10 racial skill lines.
Each of these skill lines contains a default Passive Ability—a minor benefit that becomes active once you reach Level 5. While this Passive is free, unlocking and improving the rest of the skill line requires a lot of time and a good supply of Skill Points.
It’s recommended that you invest in all of your character’s racial abilities. Doing so requires ranking the skill line to 50 and investing nine Skill Points.
Progressing your racial skill line is simply a matter of leveling your character. At Level 50, your character’s racial skill line reaches its maximum rank.
