The southern peninsula stretches out from Molag Mal, in the Molag Amur region, to the seas. Here you can explore a particularly impressive Daedric ruin, constructed to honor Sheogorath, as well as a scattering of up to four chests on the peninsula itself. The immediate vicinity of these ruins is home to a band of Warclaws. Check the area for two Heavy Sacks, a Thieves Trove, the Redas Ancestral Tomb rubbing, and two Mages Guild books. And that’s before you even step inside the place!
One book is outside the southern exterior wall, behind a rock. The other is to the east, just south of the Hlaalu Ancestral Tomb, under a giant toadstool.
Access this structure during the quest by lighting the appropriate braziers above the door. Check the quest in this guide for the solution; it involves matching the braziers with skulls around them after you read the Lorebook in the center.
Interior: Run down the L-shaped corridor to a Lorebook. Then check the exterior corridors, fighting Seducers and Hungers.
Interior (Inner Sanctum): Accessed before the central area, the massive floating eye of Izhavi the Petty must be destroyed before you continue. Take the peculiar key, which opens the Central Chamber.
Interior (Central Chamber): Scamps and a statue of Molag Bal are positioned near a large chest with a quest item to gather before escaping.
