Key Abilities
Ability Description
Screaming Cliff Racer: Morphed from Dive (Warden > Animal Companions). This is your main single-target attack. Use it from maximum range for more damage.
Growing Swarm: Morphed from Swarm (Warden > Animal Companions). Use this ability to infect a target with Fetcherflies, causing damage over time. When the effect ends, the Fetcherflies infect up to six new targets.
Winter’s Revenge: Morphed from Impaling Shards (Warden > Winter’s Embrace). This ability is a ranged AoE/DOT attack with a nice Snare effect. Use it when you need some extra damage or a bit of crowd control.
Expansive Frost Cloak: Morphed from Frost Cloak (Warden > Winter’s Embrace). Grants Major Resolve and Major Ward to you and nearby allies, increasing your Physical and Spell Resistance by 5280 for the duration of the effect.
Enchanted Growth: Morphed from Fungal Growth (Warden > Green Balance). This instant ability heals you and all allies within your frontal cone. All affected targets also gain Minor Intellect and Minor Endurance, increasing Magicka and Stamina Recovery. Its quick heal provides a small boost to resource generation.
Northern Storm: Morphed from Sleet Storm (Warden > Winter’s Embrace). This Ultimate Ability offers a nice mix of area-of-effect damage, crowd control, and protection. Slotting it also increases your Maximum Magicka by 8% and ensures that a Winter’s Embrace ability remains on your Action Bar.

This is your damage Bar. It also contains some of your healing and support abilities. This loadout uses all available Bar slots.

Bar 2: Restoration Staff

Key Abilities
Ability Description
Blue Betty: Morphed from Betty Netch (Warden > Animal Companions). Restores Magicka, grants Major Sorcery for a boost to Spell Damage, and purges one negative effect. This ability has a great duration and no casting cost. Keep it active at all times.
Lotus Blossom: Morphed from Lotus Flower (Warden > Green Balance). Allows your light and heavy attacks to heal you or a nearby ally for a percentage of the damage done. Also grants you Major Prophecy, increasing Spell Critical. This ability has a nice duration, and should be refreshed as often as needed.
Rapid Regeneration: Morphed from Regeneration (Restoration Staff). Grants a heal-over-time effect to you or up to two nearby allies.
Budding Seeds: Morphed from Healing Seed (Warden > Green Balance). Activate this ability to initiate a delayed area-of-effect heal. Activate it again at any time during the six-second delay to end the effect for an instant heal. While the effect lasts, allies can activate the Healing Seed Synergy to restore Health.
Leeching Vines: Morphed from Living Vines (Warden > Green Balance). Casting this ability places a cluster of vines on you or the lowest-Health ally in front of you. While active, the vines heal the target each time they take damage—this effect can happen once every second. The vines also apply Minor Lifesteal to enemies that damage the target, allowing allies to regain Health while attacking afflicted enemies.
Enchanted Forest: Morphed from Secluded Grove (Warden > Green Balance). This Ultimate Ability grants an instant heal to you or a nearby ally, after which it continues to heal all friendly targets within the area. You gain 20 Ultimate if the ability is used to heal an ally under 50% Health.

This is your support Bar. Use it to apply buffs and cast area-of-effect heals. This loadout uses all available Bar slots.

Priority Passives

Passives from Green Balance and Restoration Staff have the greatest effects on your healing spells. However, it’s worth noting that the Animal Companions skill line has an excellent Passive Ability for resource management: Rank 2 Flourish increases your Magicka and Stamina Recovery by 12%.

Equipment Recommendations

Weapons
Priority Trait: Sharpened
Priority Enchantment: Spell Damage
For your main weapon, use the best Destruction Staff you can find—just avoid Frost Staves once you’ve invested in the Tri Focus Passive Ability. Look for something with the Sharpened trait and a Spell Damage enchantment until you’re able to obtain a Maelstrom staff or a suitable set item.
You’ll always want a Restoration Staff as your backup weapon. Given the choice, look for staves that feature traits like Precise, Powered, or Decisive. When it comes to enchantments, Absorb Magicka is likely your best option.
Armor
Priority Trait: Divines
Priority Enchantment: Maximum Magicka
Always equip at least five pieces of light armor. Add a piece of medium armor and heavy armor if you’ve invested in the Undaunted Mettle Passive Ability. Otherwise, it’s often best to stick with seven pieces of light armor.
Armor sets offer the most useful bonuses, but look for light armor that offers Maximum Magicka enchantments until you find something better. Divines tends to be the most useful trait, but Infused can be very effective on head, chest, and leg pieces.
Jewelry
Priority Trait: Arcane
Priority Enchantment: Reduce Spell Cost
Until you manage to track down useful set pieces, use anything that reduces the Magicka cost of your spells.
