Renowned for their versatility, Templars use the power of the light and the burning sun to damage their enemies while supporting their allies. They’re capable of outstanding group support and remarkable survivability, but an appropriately built Templar can deal considerable damage.
The Templar once stood as the only class with a healing-focused skill line—while that’s no longer the case, they still rank among the game’s most popular Healers; their celebrated durability also makes them excellent Tanks.

Solar Flare is a direct-damage attack that features the Empower buff, and Radiant Destruction is a powerful damage-over-time execute.This skill line also contains two abilities that work particularly well during group content. Backlash is an intriguing ability that gains strength as the target takes damage—a steady stream of ally damage helps ensure this ability always reaches its full potential. | Restoring Light | Most Restoring Light abilities feature some sort of healing effect. Rushed Ceremony is an instant single-target heal; Healing Ritual is a group heal with a brief cast time. The Right of Passage Ultimate Ability is a channeled group heal that grants the caster immunity from all crowd-control effects.Some of this skill line’s abilities also offer valuable utility. Purifying Ritual not only heals nearby allies; it cleanses the caster of negative effects. Simply slotting Restoring Aura grants the Templar enhanced resource regeneration—activating this ability inflicts nearby enemies with Minor Magickasteal.
