Dolmens are found throughout Tamriel, with three instances in most zones, besides Cyrodiil, where there are 10. Note that there are no Dolmens in Morrowind, Craglorn, Wrothgar, Hew’s Bane, and Gold Coast. These world events require waves of enemies to be dealt with by players in the area. The start of this event can be heard and seen from a long distance, giving you time to participate if nearby. Within a zone, one dolmen typically spawns at a time with the next beginning only after the previous one has been knocked down.
After you clear out the waves of Daedra, there’s a chance for one of Molag Bal’s generals to show up. Defeating the generals earns Achievements for the player. Once the Dark Anchor is destroyed, an instanced chest appears for each participant.
