Previously, when the Dunmer were a real force to be reckoned with, this stronghold served as a show of strength. Now this fortification is home to an unruly and vicious band of Dunmer, the Nycotic cult. Note the Mages Guild book on the upper crenellations, and the nearby tomb rubbing to the northeast. Enter here during Quest: Family Reunion, by obtaining the Hlormaren Stronghold Key from one of the cultists.
Interior: This single-level jail holds prisoners to free during the quest, a large torture chamber, and a roughly L-shaped outer corridor, with alcoves and minimal cultists to offer resistance.
