Ayleid Wells, or Aetherial Wells in Auridon, provide the player with a 10-minute Maximum Health buff, called an Ayleid Health Bonus. After the well is activated, a cooldown period follows before the player can use it again. Besides in Cyrodiil, these wells are instanced. Note that this means everyone must wait out the cooldown after a well is used in Cyrodiil.
