Bearing the brunt of the ash clouds and grim precipitation from the ominous Red Mountain to the south, this is a gray desert of ruined ancient structures and mires of choked flora and fauna now adapting to life under a rumbling volcano, constantly under threat of encroachment by pyroclastic flows. Even though Molag Amur shares some of this environmental blight, Ashlands is far less mountainous, with a boundary to the Sea of Ghosts (north), Grazelands (east), and West Gash (west). Expect Daedric and Dwemer ruins (and worse!) to loom up at you, through the gloom-filled clouds.
