What’s new in Vvardenfell? Well, there are new craftable sets of equipment, and some unique crafting Motifs to find on your travels. Here’s what to look for:
Craftable Equipment Sets
There are three new craftable sets of equipment (armor and weapons) to be found, each at a unique set of crafting tables in a specific location. These are:
- Shacklebreaker set at the Vvardenfell location Zergonipal.
- Assassin’s Guile set at the Vvardenfell location Marandas.
- Daedric Trickery set at the Vvardenfell location Randas Ancestral Tomb.
Need to know where these three locations are? Consult the Atlas of Morrowind, found later in this guide.

Crafting Motifs
There are four new styles (Motifs) to uncover across Vvardenfell. These are:
Ashlander
This style’s Motif chapters are found by completing the relic and the hunting daily quests in Vvardenfell. The style item, Ash Canvas, is picked up during those same activities, more commonly than the chapters.
Buoyant Armiger
This Motif’s chapters are found by opening treasure chests. While exceptionally rare, they will appear more often for players who’ve completed Vvardenfell’s main quest line and restored Vivec’s power, or for players who’ve completed the museum quest line. Completing both will result in the best possible chance of finding these Motif chapters, but even then they will be quite the rare find indeed.
The style item’s raw component, Viridian Dust, can be found by harvesting cloth, metal, and wood throughout Vvardenfell. The more chapters of the Buoyant Armiger style you know, the more likely you’ll be to find Viridian Dust, but even if you don’t know anything about how to craft Buoyant Armiger, you’ll still have a chance to find some. Once you’ve found 10 of the raw material, refine it at any equipment crafting station to craft Volcanic Viridian, which can then be used to craft in this style.
Militant Ordinator
The chapters for this style are exclusively sold by Colotarion, the Battleground Elite Merchant, in the Vivec City Battlegrounds camp. The chapters cost a significant amount of AP (Alliance Points), earned through PvP combat, both in Cyrodiil and the Imperial City, or in Battlegrounds. The chapters cost as much as 500,000 AP.
The style item is sold by the same Merchant in its raw form, Dull Sphalerite, for 5,000 AP apiece. You must obtain 10 of these, refine them into Lustrous Sphalerite at an equipment crafting station, and then use that to craft an item in this style.
Morag Tong
This Motif’s chapters can be found by completing the world boss and delve boss daily quests in Vvardenfell. They drop rarely, so they’re not a guarantee. The style item, Boiled Carapace, is found the same way, but more commonly.
