This watery cave lies near a small pond near the base of Eastmarch’s eastern mountains. Enter a side passage, slay a lowly bandit guard, and then safely trigger a trip wire from afar to avoid begin struck by a swinging flail. Cut down the powerful bandit mage in the nook beyond to discover a Treasure Map on her body. Collect a Skill Book here, along with the Unusual Gem, which pertains to the Thieves Guild Radiant Quest: No Stone Unturned. Raid the large chest, then make your way to the cave’s far end to discover another chest that’s locked. Stony Creek Cave links to Kagrenzel [7.35], but it’s a one-way passage, and you can only travel from Kagrenzel to Stony Creek Cave.
