My Dead Brother

Mission Briefing

A fast-talking wizard named Simon just cursed you. Thanks to Simon, you now have the ability to revive the dead (a benefit he gladly mentioned to you), but you will die in a week if the curse isn’t removed (which he didn’t mention). Revenge is a Dish Best Served Twice

You’ll meet Simon on your way out of Wailer’s Drop at the Lair of Infinite Agony. He has a simple request: go to several mass graves, resurrect everyone to see if his brother Edgar is among them, and then kill them all again.

There are three mass graves in all, and you’ll find them in the northeast part of the Chamber of Woe, the center of the Bone Barracks, and the northern part of the Seer’s Sanctum. A glowing green sword marks each pile, and each pile spawns in several waves of skeletons once you choose to use your Simon-given resurrection powers.

Yep, that’s a mass grave, all right.

The battles in this quest can be tough, especially the later waves at the later graves.

Once you’ve examined all three bone sites without finding Edgar, head to the southern part of the Seer’s Sanctum to speak to Simon again. He’ll reveal that he’s found Edgar himself, and he demands that you resurrect and murder him again. Edgar, once resurrected, does not seem too supportive of this plan. You’re free to side with either party.

Edgar is a powerful Fire Mage, but between your guns and Simon’s necromantic powers, he doesn’t stand a chance. Simon rewards your loyalty with a blue-rarity shotgun.

Simon summons skeletons and attacks with flying skulls, but he won’t last long against your bullets and Edgar’s fireballs. Edgar thanks you with a blue-rarity assault rifle.
