The first two waves of this round mix bullymongs in with groups of lesser skags. Immediately run for cover after hitting the switch—once again, the back corner of the southeast room is a good choice. The bullymongs won’t have any trouble finding you there, but with the roof preventing their leaping attacks and the cage and varkid hive making it difficult for the bullymongs to move freely, you’ll be able to pump them full of bullets while they’re still struggling to reach you. Once they’re down, you can either snipe off their skag companions or engage them directly in hopes of earning Critical Hits for the bonus objective.

Waves 3 and 4 consist of powerful elemental skags. You don’t want to get trapped behind cover, so stay out of the cells, and keep moving to avoid enemy projectiles. However, you should still keep yourself in a small section of the battlefield so you can engage your foes one or two at a time. The very start of each wave is the most challenging part, as you’ll likely be under fire from two beasts at once. Make heavy use of grenades and powerful weapons like rocket launchers to even the odds, and fire off Action Skills like Buzz Axe Rampage, Phaselock, and Deception.
