Mission Briefing

A bandit known as Shorty defaced one of Scooter’s Catch-a-Ride stations. Scooter has asked you to find Shorty in The Fridge and demand he repay Scooter for the damages. Just kidding. Scooter wants him dead.

The Fridge

Sinkhole’s location is tracked on the minimap; he’ll retreat to Stalker Hollow when you shoot him.

If you’ve been wanting to explore the northern loops through The Fridge but haven’t gotten around to it yet, this is the mission for you! Head to The Fridge and proceed north along the eastern side of Frigid Cleft until you come to an open door to an interior area previously off-limits. Take some time exploring the hallways of this area and locate the chests (one of which is behind an electrical field controlled by a fuse box down a lengthy flight of stairs). Make your way into the cave leading north from these rooms, and keep your eyes peeled for a floating creature known as Sinkhole. Sinkhole has swallowed Shorty alive, and Scooter wants you to free Shorty so that you can properly kill him. Got it?

Fight your way northward through Stalker Hollow in pursuit of Sinkhole. The area is crawling with Spring Stalkers, so have a Shock weapon handy and be ready to drop their shields so you can better track them. Sinkhole sheds its Midget-like appearance and reveals its true stalker form once you reach him in Stalker Hollow. Keep your distance and open fire with a Shock weapon. Resist the urge to use Phaselock or a Sabre Turret if Maya or Axton, respectively, if you are making an effort to earn the bonus money. This is especially true if you are using Helios or Acid Cloud with Maya.
