Now serving you seconds with this festive Headhunter Pack add-on, you won’t be starving for action when battling the Ravenous Wattle Gobbler. Fight off his hunger and finish him off, leaving you full of stories from Grandma Torgue--plus a delicious head and skins!
The Hunger Pangs
Reward: Character head customization and XP
Use the Fast Travel to reach Gluttony Gulch. Once there, walk up to the cashier and pay admission to the show. Simple walk up to the cashier, hand him your ticket, and enter the door to right. Grab a seat and watch a short scene of Togue’s show.
Afterwards, he will invite you on stage. Speak to Torgue and he will tell you about the Ravenous Wattle Gobbler and his plan to poison it.
Poison the Wattle Gobbler
Prepare yourself for a bit of action before entering the kitchen. While the chefs may be passive to your presence at first, things quickly shift gears into a decent firefight.
Chef Gouda Ramsay and the Rat in the Hat will spawn. Gouda doesn’t move fast, but carries a shield for protection. Try to avoid him while taking out the Rat. The Rat in the Hat is small and moves very quickly, so use an AoE or elemental weapon to damage him for best results.
Get Skag Meat (3)
Head to the east side of the kitchen to find a closed door that Torgue will “open.” Explore the rooms and grab the first two pieces of meat. Don’t get distracted while grabbing the Skag Meat, as enemies will begin to swarm each room you enter.
The room containing the third piece of meat contains your first interaction with the Tributes--William and Glasspool of Wurmwater.
These enemies use melee attacks, so keep you distance and jump over objects to shoot them. Glasspool is the easier target of the two due to the fact that he is larger and doesn’t carry a shield.
Head through the small room to the east, then head up the stairs and out to the edge of the platform to pick up the third piece of Skag Meat. Return to the kitchen and grind the meat. Now it’s time to source some poison for the meat!
Find the Stabber Jabber Nest
The door leading to the nest is located just past the vendors on the west side of the kitchen. If you have a weapon capable of Slag damage, equip it now! If not, there’s one in a chest to the west of the Stabber Jabber Nest once you’re outside.
Just before passing through the first set of gates, Tributes Rose and Axel will spawn. Axel will jetpack around the arena attempting to flank your Vault Hunter while Rose continuously shoots at you. Try to isolate one of them by moving around the tree in the middle of the area. Once both are defeated, head south and head to the nest.
Get Poison Glands (3)
Walk up to the nest and smash it with your melee to spawn some Stabber Jabbers. You must kill at least three of them with Slag damage to make them drop the Poison Glands. Stabber Jabbers will continue to spawn until you acquire all of the Poison Glands. Once done, return to the kitchen and poison the Gravy.
Cooking the Meal
Before starting the Oven, top off your ammo at the nearby vendor, as a few waves of enemies will attack while the food cooks. Soon after the oven starts, a small progress bar will appear below the Cook Food objective in the top-right of the screen. Once filled, the mission will be complete.
Stay as close to the button that you used to start the oven as possible. If an enemy reaches the button, the progress will pause until your Vault Hunter can press it again.
During the early stages, you are fairly safe near the button. As more enemies fill the room, though, try to fight toward one of the corners while keeping an eye on the button.
Survive long enough to cook the meal, then finish off any remaining enemies. Head up the stairs and press a button to activate a hook to take the food into the arena while clearing a path to the elevators.
Kill the Ravenous Wattle Gobbler
There are a few vendors to the left of the elevators; heal your Vault Hunter and stock up on ammo before choosing an elevator. Steer clear of the Wattle Gobbler at first, killing the other tributes when possible. Your only objective right now is surviving until the poison kicks in and opens up the Wattle Gobbler for damage. You’ll know it’s time to attack when the objective in the top corner of the screen switches from “Survive the Wattle Gobbler” to “Defeat the Wattle Gobbler.”
Defeat a few more tributes to create some breathing room during the Wattle Gobbler fight. If you are playing solo, it isn’t a bad idea to leave one or two enemies with low health just in case you need to get out of Last Stand. The Wattle Gobbler’s critical point is its head, which is a rather small target compared to the size of its body.
When the Wattle Gobbler turns its rear and begins shooting eggs into the sky, shoot them before they land to avoid taking damage and also stop any Wattle Gobblets from spawning.
Use elemental weapons on the Wattle Gobbler while circling around the center of the map. The Gobbler isn’t immune to the elemental effects, so it may continue to take damage while it chases you even if you aren’t shooting.
After defeating the Wattle Gobbler, head north toward the exit of the arena. Before jumping down the hole though, head up the path just past it to find three chests. Jump down the hole to reach the stage with Torgue. Speak with him to turn in the quest and receive your reward!
Grandma Flexington’s Story

Who wants to hear a story? Grab a snack, drink, and all your friends. You’re about to embark on one of the craziest missions in all of Borderlands history!
Listen to Grandma’s Story
After accepting this quest from Torgue, take a stage dive and head to the right to find Granma Flexington sitting in a chair. Talk to her to begin the quest. She will tell you a long tale about her life and everything else in the world. Remember these words: “Rocky Road.” When the time is right, you’ll know what to do with them. When she finishes talking, turn in the quest to her for your reward.

This mission begins by listening to another one of Grandma Flexington’s stories. After a short while, she begins to reminisce about a candy from her past, which sounds like the perfect excuse to take a break from listening and shoot things!
Find a Schwartzmann’s Candy Drop
Turn away from Grandma Flexington, go toward the kitchen, and head back out to the area where you first fought the Stabber Jabbers. On a small island to the east of the Nests you’ll find the Candy Drop. Just as you reach it, a shield encircles it and you will have to kill two Tributes to grab it and return it to Grandma.

Eventually, Grandma Flexington will finally decide it’s time to quit talking and let you go on your way—but not before giving you something for the road! Grandma will pull out a Rocket Launcher that inflicts high damage. Accept her gift and turn in the mission to get your XP reward.
