Thousand Cuts
Remember, kids, beauty is in the eye of the beholder!
Scooter has a certain lady friend he’s trying to impress, but he needs some inspiration. Take his camera off the nearby cart, and head to Thousand Cuts to photograph some rather macabre scenes that he can work into a poem. He also wants you to find him a nudie magazine, but that’s for a different purpose.
You can reach all the three inspirational scenes and the stray nudie magazine that Scooter wants you to find while making a pseudo counter-clockwise loop around the northern half of Thousand Cuts. Start by fighting your way north into Slab Town. Take shelter from the Buzzards in the hut to the right of the first small bridge, and pick up the nudie magazine while you’re there.
Continue exploring Slab Town, then cross the small bridge to the left to find two of the tombstones in the town and also the first bit of inspiration for Scooter. Photograph the corpse on this small rocky island.
Return south through Slab Town and cross the western bridge to Bloody Knuckle Point. The next piece of inspiration is a deceased Marauder in an embrace with a Loader. You’ll find them lying on the ground at the base of the building with the turret mounted on it. The final item needing to be photographed is a lone flower located in No Man’s Land. Head due south from the bandit-and-Loader photo op to find the flower, then return to Scooter at once.
Scooter then records the poem on an ECHO Recorder, which he wants you to deliver to Daisy. She’s located in Sanctuary, along the road leading from Scooter’s Garage up to Moxxi’s Bar. Give her the ECHO Recorder, and wait for her reaction before returning to Scooter.
To say Daisy exhibits a strong reaction to Scooter’s poem is putting it lightly.
