Another Sponsor, Another Bar

Moxxi has agreed to sponsor you, and she’s even going to line up a special coach to help train you for the fights to come. She’ll fill you in on the details once you meet her at the Badass Crater Bar in the southwest corner of Badass Crater. Exit the area where Moxxi was being held, and follow the sewer tunnel westward to the exit to The Beatdown.

You emerge from the side entrance of Pyro Pete’s Bar on a hill overlooking the exit to Badass Crater, but you can’t reach it because of the walls and fences. Head south along the road and around the bend, where the water tower and wall are located on the right-hand side of the intersection. Turn here and fight your way back to the vending machines and Bounty Board near the Fast-Travel Station.

Grab a vehicle from the nearby Catch-a-Ride, and follow the paved road south back past Torgue Arena and past the start/finish line for the raceway. Eliminate any Bikers or Gunners that attack, and continue driving through the chicane and past the ramps to the bar with the “Moxxi’s Red Light” sign up ahead. Saunter on in, and speak to Moxxi.

Moxxi lured you all the way out here to tell you about your new trainer. And, perhaps, so you can play the slot machines in her bar. She has two pairs of slot machines in the bar: one pair costs five Torgue Tokens a pull, but pays out in weapons and Torgue Tokens. The other pair runs on cash, just like the ones back in Sanctuary. Either way, exit the bar after talking to her, and hop back into your vehicle.

Pull out onto the race track and continue north through the tunnel and around the bends on the other side, toward the broken highway overpass near the cliffs. Park the vehicle, and make your way up the sandy path beyond the large pink mines to the pink camper-van beyond the wooden fence. If the mines and colorful graffiti don’t ring a bell, you’re in for a treat.

Mr. Torgue has learned that the beer being served at Pyro Pete’s Bar has been tainted, and he’s asked you to head over there and collect 21 bottles of tainted brew. Make your way back to Pyro Pete’s Bar, and open fire on the Tunnel Rats and Torgue Engineers near the bar. Lob your grenades and gun down every enemy you spot in the facility. Every patron you kill drops a bottle of bad beer. Manually pick up the blue-lit collectibles as you clear out the lower level and advance to the second floor. There’s no room to hunt for the badass enemies, so avoid the back rooms. Instead, let the Badass Enforcers come to you out on the second floor loft. The mission is considered complete as soon as you pick up the 21st bottle of bad beer, but the enemies keep on attacking until you’ve killed the very last one. Run if you want to, but there’s probably going to be a few Torgue Tokens and Moxxi Portraits available for you to collect.
