Mission Briefing

Moxxi—who, as you may remember, owns several Circles of Slaughter throughout Pandora—has set up a magic-themed arena somewhere in Tina’s fantasy world. If you can find Murderlin the Wizard, he will help you fight your way through a few rounds of fantastical violence.

Let the Slaughter Begin

I smell another Circle of Slaughter! Murderlin’s Temple isn’t hard to find; the hidden entrance is in the chasm between Flamerock Refuge’s town square and the outskirts to the south. You can drop right down onto the entrance from the bridge with the pulley directly south of the Quick Change station.

Inside the temple you’ll find an assortment of vending machines, two hidden Cult of the Vault symbols (one of which can only be found during “The Magic of Childhood” quest), and a deranged Slaughtermaster offering the usual series of five multi-wave arena battles.

Murderlin is nuts, but don’t tune out his mid-battle dialogue; he does warn you about impending traps (sometimes).
