Mal has come to believe that the most human trait of all is the tendency to kill other humans. Use the time he spends philosophizing to equip your best Corrosive weaponry, then let him have it. Mal may behave unlike the other Loaders you’ve encountered, but he’s still just a Loader. A few rounds of your best Corrosive weaponry—and maybe an Explosive grenade—are all it takes to beat him into submission. He might want to be human, but he has a long way to go before he can outsmart one!

Mal does fight back if given the opportunity, but he’s not even on par with a Badass Loader. He says he’ll allow you to return to fight him again in the future, but given his human tendencies, he’s probably just lying…

Break out your best Corrosive weapons, and paint him green!
