Mission Briefing

Moxxi used to run a deadly tournament known as the Underdome. As revenge for her infidelities, Jack burned it to the ground. She has recently discovered that Jack plans to build his own Underdome in Opportunity as a further insult to her—an insult she won’t stand for. She has asked you to get to Opportunity and ensure that the Underdome will never be built.

Opportunity

Moxxi wants you to ensure that the construction site for Jack’s new Underdome is destroyed. In order to pull off the sabotage, you must first eliminate the Foreman. Make your way south across Opportunity to The Pits, where the Underdome is being built. Foreman Jasper is little more than a Combat Engineer and can be taken out with relative ease, especially if you’re armed with Corrosive weaponry. Blast him from an elevated position to inflict a status effect, then move in for a close-range critical kill to finish him off. Pick up the foreman’s supply key and make your way to the southern edge of Opportunity to unlock the supply container near the foreman’s office.

Collect the explosives from within the container and make your way to the flood wall just north of the supply shed. The flood wall is in a relatively isolated location, reachable only through one of two ventilation shafts. It’s not uncommon for a Constructor Bot to be in the vicinity, so stay high to maintain an elevated advantage and rain explosives and Corrosive attacks down on it. Duck through the right-hand ventilation pipe to access the flood wall, and place the explosives on the wall where indicated. Now, run! Those explosives have a timed detonation, and once they’ve blown, the sea is going to rush in and flood the construction site! Return to Moxxi at once.
