Mission Briefing

Last night, Marcus got drunk and accidentally developed a conscience. In his inebriated state, he mailed out several refund checks to those customers who had been disappointed and/or maimed by his products. Now sober and remorseful, he has asked you to collect the refund checks from the mailboxes before the auto-post sends them off.

Eridium Blight

The third and final delivery mission available to you asks you to race around Eridium Blight, stealing refund checks from various mailboxes before they get picked up. The mission begins at the Jack Statue Bounty Board in Eridium Blight. Get a Light Runner from the nearby Catch-a-Ride, and point it east along the main road. The timer begins with 3:00 on the clock, but you’ll receive roughly 2:12 of additional time after each successive pick-up. Unlike the previous delivery missions, you may very well finish this one with several minutes remaining on the clock, particularly if you follow the figure-eight route outlined below.

Drive along the main road and across the bridge to the north. Continue past the entrance to Sawtooth Cauldron, and make your way to the bandit camp in Mount Hellsfont. The timer won’t start until you make the first pick-up.

Hop back into your Light Runner and steer yourself west toward the second bridge on the right, ignoring the first one. Run across the bridge, turn hard to the right, and climb the ladder to the second mailbox. Beware of any Caustic Goliaths in the way—brush past them, and keep moving!

Sprint back to the vehicle, and continue up the hill to the southwest and down the narrow ramp toward the Slagma Refinery on the left. Here, you can drive right into the camp and leave the Light Runner just feet from the mailbox while you make the pick-up.

Drive straight off the cliff to the south, and turbo the Light Runner through the Slag Scar’s eastern end. Bring the vehicle to a halt just above the cliff near the ladder, and locate the mailbox on the left. There’s no need to descend to the loading dock below. Grab the refund check from the mailbox, and quickly drive out of the valley to the southeast.

Follow the dirt path to where it connects with the main highway on the southern side of Eridium Blight and follow this road to the west, to the pedestrian bridge leading north to the main gates of the Eridium Extraction Plant. Sprint across the bridge and approach the gate; it opens automatically. Race through the facility’s yard to the final mailbox.
