Opportunity

Clear out the enemies guarding the Surveyor lures before you rush in to grab them.

Lilith wants you to help her reveal the real Opportunity, and what better way than by broadcasting the city’s violence and cruelty to the very people Handsome Jack is trying to advertise to? Head over to Moxxi’s Bar and borrow Moxxi’s camera from her. Since this may very well be your first time to Opportunity, you may have to access it on the ground first. Fast Travel to the Hyperion Bridge in The Highlands and drive across the bridge to the west to enter the city of Opportunity.

The camera is going to film everything you do in Opportunity, so Lilith wants you to cause as much carnage and mayhem as possible. Start by collecting the Surveyor lures marked on the minimap. These lures can help you guide the Surveyor Drones right into the cardboard cutouts of Handsome Jack. Of course, the lures aren’t left unattended, and you’ll have to kill five (or 20) Engineers in the process of getting them. Lilith has also asked that you pick up a supply beacon.

Head west along the northern edge of Opportunity to the far side of the Hyperion Office Complex. You’ll find the Surveyor lures you seek near a helipad, along with several Engineers and WAR Loaders. Put your best Corrosive weaponry to work against any enemies you see, and gather up the items you seek.

The Surveyor lures (aka homing beacons) are on the helipad on the west side of the Hyperion Office Complex.

Lilith has marked the location of several Jack posters around the city. Make your way to each of these locations, and place one of the Surveyor lures on the, ahem, center of the life-size sign. When the time is right, the Surveyor lures will cause any deployed drones to crash right into Jack’s junk.

The three Jack signs are all located between the Hyperion Office Complex and Living Legend Plaza.

Collect the supply beacon from the container near Living Legend Plaza (watching out for the Constructor Bot that is routinely deployed to the area), and transport it to the western edge of town. Proceed along the lengthy pier to the crane in the distance, and place the supply beacon at its base. The beacon signals a supply drop that crashes into the crane, immediately halting construction of the city.

The supply beacon is inside a container near Living Legend Plaza and Orbital Delivery Zone.

Armed with the footage of out of control Surveyor Drones, collapsing cranes, and cold-blooded murder of Engineers, it’s time to upload the footage to the Opportunity advertising network. The Co-Opportunity Center is just north of the pier where the crane is located, in the Waterfront District. Approach the door carefully as two Hyperion Snipers are lying in wait. Hyperion Snipers are agile, capable of cloaking, and armed with laser-scoped sniper rifles. Lob a grenade into the room or use your Action Skill the moment the door opens to eliminate the Hyperion Snipers, then use the terminal to upload the footage.
